Item Properties - Lightsaber

*Defender of the Force*
<Korriban, Shyrack Caves - Found on Durron Qel-Droma's corpse>

Feats Required: Weapon Proficiency - Lightsaber

Damage: Energy, 2-16
Energy, +1d4 vs. Dark Side
Critical Threat: 19-20,x2
Restricted to: Light Side

This lightsaber has been gifted to Jedi Masters strong in the Force for hundreds of years.
Only those with the deepest committment to serving the Light Side can wield this powerful weapon.

<Korriban, Tomb of Naga Sadow - Found in Sith Statue>

Feats Required: Weapon Proficiency - Lightsaber

Damage: Energy, 2-16
Damage Bonus: +1-4 Fire
Critical Threat: 19-20,x2
Restricted to: Dark Side

A powerful weapon of the Sith, this unique lightsaber has been modified to accept unconventional
focusing crystals. Only those who have turned to the Dark Side can operate this evil artifact.

*Nosnysan Crystal*
<Kashyyyk, Lower Shadowlands - Tanktanerak corpse>

Attack Bonus: 5
Blaster Bolt Deflection: Increase: +4
Damage Bonus: Energy, 1d10

These mossy crystals are formed naturally in the Shadowlands
of Kashyyyk. Although Czerka Corporation has dismissed these natural resources as having no value,
Wookies have collected them for centuries as symbols of power and strength.

*Sanhe Crystal*
<Tatooine, Eastern Dune Sea - Rubble pile in Krayt Dragon Lair)

Attack Bonus: 4
Blaster Bolt Deflection: Increase: +3
Damage Bonus: Energy, 1d8

This crystal was formed by ages of brutal heat, giving it a bright, reflective surface.

*Quala Crystal*
<Manaan, Sith Base - Found on Dark Jedi Master's corpse>

Attack Bonus: 2
Damage Bonus: Energy, 3
Massive Criticals: 2d6
Regeneration: 2

Formed in Kolto vents near the bottom of Manaan's watery depths, this unique crystal appears to
have healing properties as well as the ability to create a dense lightsaber beam.

*Josxun Crystal*
<Yavin Space Station - Purchased from Suvam after finding the last Star Map>

Attack Bonus: 3
Blaster Bolt Deflection: Increase: +8
Damage Bonus: Energy, 2d6

Excavated from the surface of Yavin IV, this plain looking crystal appears too unrefined for normal
lightsaber use, but may fit into a specially modified weapon.

*Ta'xar Crystal*
<Unknown World, Main floor of the Temple of the Ancients - Found in Strongbox>

Attack Bonus: 3
Damage Bonus: Energy, 3
Regeneration Force Points: 5

This powerful crystal was once highly regarded by the Jedi Order for its strong connection with
the Force. It disappeared from the Counsel's possession about the same time that Revan and Malak
left to confront the Mandalorians, however none of the Jedi Masters considered that it may have
been stolen.

*Kadal Crystal*
<Korriban, Tomb of Naga Sadow - Found in Naga Sadow's Monument>

Attack Bonus: 3
Damage Bonus: Energy, 5

This ancient stone was most probably kept by Naga Sadow for its Force properties, however it
appears as though it would be quite functional in a specially equipped lightsaber.

Creator's Notes

These items were the result of an attempt to build custom focusing crystals. In an effort to preserve
game balance, the crystal properties were based on the existing crystals when used with Heart of the
Guardian and Mantle of the Force. I tried to combine the properties of the crystal when used with these
special color crystals, then evenly "divide" the properties. Here's the break down

Nosnysan Crystal - "average" properties for Solari when used with HotG and MotF
Sanhe Crystal - "average" properties for Krayt Dragon Pearl when used with HotG and MotF
Quala Crystal - "average" properties for Opila when used with HotG and MotF plus regeneration
Josxun Crystal - "average" properties for Upari when used with HotG and MotF
Ta'xar Crystal - "average" properties for Eralam when used with HotG and MotF plus Force regeneration
Kadal Crystal - "average" properties for Sapith when used with HotG and MotF

The custom sabers will still take normal crystals as upgrades, but only the custom sabers will take the
new crystals. If you try to upgrade a game saber with a custom crystal, the properties will not apply and
the color of your saber will change.

It was much easier than I thought it would be when I started. The hardest part was coming up with the names and descriptions.

...hey i was just wondering must i go to the specific locations to get sabres and crystals, becoz i would just like to cheat and use them?! LoL (Yes i do LOVE to cheat)

Nope, you can get them using cheats, but I don't like to make it easy =)

"giveitem" and the uti filenames should hook you up without having to deal with all the hard work that I put into this mod *LOL*

all i can say is, "WHAT A PIECE OF CRA ...

... only kiddin' those lightsabres and crystals are really something else, if i were you i'd be so proud of myself it kills me!! LoL

Not sure what you mean; I did create new lightsabers (LS=Defender of the Force, DS=Master of the Force). You could create them without special sabers, however you would have to update all of the in-game sabers.

Yes but you also created 7 or 8 I dont remember now other crystals that are to upgrade the lightsabers.
How you did that?
I thought that always that you create a new crystal you had to create a new saber for it.

Only for creating a new lightsaber, not upgrade crystals, Achillies new upgrade crystals only work in his new lightsabers, if I am correct?

Achillies would have to change all of the other lightsaber.uti files to make them compatable with his new upgrade crystals, a time consuming task indeed. :D

BTW, cool saber ideas Achillies!!!

Correct. Because these share the same upgrade type as all the other crystals in the game, you will still see them on the workbench without one of the custom sabers, however they will not have any upgrade properties whatsoever.

I'm glad you like it. I'm thinking that I may have to create others, but we'll have to see.

I like it. :) Im glad someone has finally made new upgrade crystals. :)

I gave ya a ten for effort. I like the back stories and the properties, But I thought that you could have done more with the icons they just look too familiar ;)

keep em comming :D

ps. You should add the properties to the defualt sabers as well, it wouldn't take that long to do, you would just need to save the properties as XML from one saber uti and load it into the rest rest 5 min. ->10 min TOPS :D

I thought about changing the icons, but decided that I didn't want to put anymore item into something relatively trivial. I agree that they are pretty plain and might include new icons in future versions.

I wasn't aware that there was any easy way to apply the changes to all the sabers. I think there is something to be said for needing a special lightsaber but perhaps someone with a different viewpoint will make custom upgrade crystals that work with all sabers.

If someone had told me a few weeks ago that I would be modding this game, I wouldn't have believed them. Thanks to your tutorial, I have a whole new excuse to stay up til 3am on a weeknight =). Thanks for the vote!
