I was just curious as to how to difficult it is to make animations for games.

I have no experience but I always loved the lightsaber battles from the movies and was somewhat dissapointed when the battles in KotOR didn't quite meet my expectations, but then I here that a model compiler/decompiler is coming out so I thought it would be cool to try and make my own combat coreography animations, who knows, if I am any good I could make a pretty popular mod.

Just hoping someone with experience could tell me what it is like and how it works.

Thanks

PS: Will someone please release the model compiler/decompiler soon, I am getting very impatient! I want to start doing stuff right away!

I myself have no idea about creating animations, but I hear that there are going to be several new animations added for the melee fighting in KotOR 2. Something to look forward to I guess.

Yes, I know.

However, I hope to possibly mod KotOR so that the combat looks almost exactly like it does in the movies.

Thus my wanting knowledge on what animating is like and the such.
