Here's what I've written at the BioWare forums, and since I can't bothered typing it out again:

Pazaak Online v1.3.0 is ready to download:
http://files.filefront.com/3061151)

I've changed the version formatting so that people won't have to redownload after every little bug fix. Basically the version check I've reprogrammed so that the same major versions can play, so 1.3.0 and (future) 1.3.1 can player together, but not say, 1.3.1 and 1.4.0.

Well here are some of the other major changes:
- Fixed the AI problem where it would play cards at stupid times
- Reprogrammed sound code so it uses DirectSound (DirectX 8 required) . This allows multiple sounds at the same time and other sounds won't cut each other off
- The pulsing indicator lights have been defaulted too off. Check the box to turn it on
- Fixed bug where player files could get corrupted at the card configuration screen
- Two players can now be on the same computer: each will need their own copy of Pazaak Online (in separate folders). Previously, having two separate copies wouldn't work. One copy would report a corrupted player file. Must have different player names!
- Archive is now RAR format because it's smaller
- Rewrote some code, removed doubled up code and organised it better for easier fixing/upgrading
- Fixed (I think) bug where the button on the connect screen appeared even though it shouldn't have

Comments, constructive criticism, suggestions, especially bug reports, all welcome!

If you're using a firewall program like Zone, the program should ask you whether to allow a certain connection or not, like you should be able to "allow once" a Pazaak Online game or something.

For those of you who use the default Windows XP Firewall like me, I've done a search and figured out how to open/close particular ports. Go to the website for details:
