How do I force them to use the graphical settings?

This wasn't an issue in Jedi Outcast but for some reason in Jedi Academy it turns off shadows and practically all the other effects that I have turned on. It looks like crap without it. How do I keep the stuff on? During gameplay it seems to be working just fine, but during the in-game cutscenes it turns off.

I did a search and came up with no results on this topic. I'd assume that this was a common complaint. I sure hope this isn't just my experience or that I'm the only one who notices.

Other than this and saber realistic combat not working I have no other issues with the game.

Updated to 1.01 and am using a GeForce4 Ti.

So the effects work in your cutscenes?

Is it because you are using simple shadows? I use projected shadows and i still see them in cutsences. Maybe it has something to do with your graphic card?

I'm using Volumetric shadows, and it switches to simple during the cutscenes.

That means voldumtric shadows are disabled in cutsences, if you use projected (cg_shadows 3) shadows you get to see shadows all the time.

That works! :D It's an improvement for sure, too bad about volumetric though.
