hey people,

Im making a level kinda like the one in dark forces II called "the jedi's lightsaber" I've got these long aquaducts that have water running down them, but I need the water to push you in that direction. how?

Use a trigger_push.

and set the LINEAR flag on it as well as a low speed such as 100.

but a trigger push wont work if your going down.


and I have another question: how can you make a simple patch mesh solid? I have one with a water texture on it (waterfall) but its solid, and that a serious no no for water:(

Yes you can, just put the target_position below the trigger!

Make sure your shader has surfaceparm nonsolid.
