Okay I'm gonna try this if this story sucks just tell me and i'll be totally happy :p Anyways.. the story is about (duh) the battle for hoth. after the main fight and the rebel evacuation there is still another rebel base and the imps are looking for it. choose side rebel or imp but don't do both. and make a hero guy man dude. okay here's mine
Name: Gves Vandar
Age: 22
Bio: Gves was born and raised in the lower levels of coursant, where only the tough survived. He was tough. His first fight was a gang rumble he saw from outside his house. he got up to a high window and picked up his DL-XX Disruptior Rifle. The fight ended fast. He killed five. After that he traveled around selling himself as a mercenary. That's how he ran into the imperials.
Now an Imperial merc for 3 years, his assignment is to find the rebel base on hoth and assassinate Admiral Orca.
Strengths: Can kill ANYTHING from afar.
Weakness: Close Combat.
Equipment: DL-XX Disruptor rifle, Modified Tie Interceptor, Blaster Pistol, Vibro-Knife
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Gves threw down his water canteen in disgust. This was his third day out looking for the base, with no luck. His food was ruined from the cold, and his water was now ice. He mounted his Taun-Taun and rode on some more.
Gves decided to take a break. He would just sit down for a little bit. He sat down and noticed something. A light. I was flashing. He could tell. He had found his objective.
Gves snuck up to the side of the base. Only one gaurd. Simple enough for him. He crept stealthily up to the gaurd by the door. He raised his knife for the kill... untill he heard the sound of the door opening behind him.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By the way..... NO SWEARING AT ALL! IT RUINS IT FOR JUST ABOUT EVERYONE. And one more thing... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE give us a way to defeat your character!!! (Thank you T10 for doing that! And I don't mean put a dislike like "My character dislikes wookiees" That doesn't give us a single clue on how to beat him. Thxs in advance.
Name: Trikon'eri
Race: Twi'lek
Sex: Male
Age: 19
Affiliation: Rebel Alliance
Bio: Brought up by a rich family on New Taris, Trikon'eri lived in luxury almost all of his life. However, 4 years ago, he was arrested in an Imperial counter-terrorist raid. With little evidence against him, and over-whelming Tarisian pressure, the local government was forced to release him.
Embiitteed by the injustices suffered during his time spent in an Imperial cell, he decided to join against the Empire. New Taris, representing the state that it was in almost 4000 years ago, was in economic decline, giving the Rebels a good footing in the undercity. It didn't take long for Trikon'eri to find a cell, and he instantly became hooked up, using his credits to his advantage.
Nowadays, he helps run supplies to the rebels, including firearms, rations and even new fighters. However, given his position, he deems himself highly likely to attack, and sorrounds himself with bodyguards at all times, making it hard to others to attack him. However, his own combat skills are non-existant, and so killing him when he's on his own is an easy prospect.
Equipment: Holdout blaster
4 MN-40 Battledroids
An almost limitless supply of credits
(I'll post my bit of the story later, I need to go now.)
OOC:
Name: Galvii Tonez
Race: Corellian
Homeworld: Corellia
Weaponry: Vibro-Double-Blade, modified dueling shield.
Allegiance: Imperial
Bio: Galvii Tonez didn't lead the typical Corellian childhood. He didn't grow up fighting for his life and joining in gang warfare from an early age. He grew up in an elitist enclave, buried deep in the polar regions of the planet. He enjoyed a superior education and advanced combat training program put in place by the Empire, similar to that the Republic used to train the Grand Army. At age eighteen he was committed to the Imperial Army Special Operation Corps and placed in an elite melee unit. He was issued with his vibro-staff and a special model of dueling shield made to absorb barrages of blaster fire, leaving skilled melee combat or massive explosion the only thing that can effectively stop him. Currently assigned to Hoth, his unit is to assist and provide support in the destruction of the targeted Rebel holdout position.
IC: Galvii Tonez signalled for his unit to move forward, closer to the Rebel position they had been ordered to remove. They were trailing a crack Imperial assassin and were to provide heavy support if it turned out that he needed it. Seeing him move into place near the base, the unit settled into position and prepared to charge at a moment's notice.
Name: Gander Kan.
Race: Mandalorian.
OOC:
Homeworld:Coruscant.
Weaponry: Standard imperial E-11 Blastech rifle, thermal detonators.
Allegiance:Imperial
Vehicle: None, always moveds towards the battlefield in a troop transport.
Bio: Born during the clone wars, he was quickly discovered as a jedi talent by the jedi council. But he was only three years in training before the Empire rose. All jedi were being traced and killed, so Gander fled coruscant. He swore off the force (Like Kyle Katarn did) And thought it would be best to join the Imperial academy. After five years of being an Imperial TIE pilot, he was promoted to officer, but he thought he would be of more use in the field and didn't take it. Now, he is a normal stormtrooper, but thanks to his jedi training, he benefits from fast reflexes an a sharp eye, and thanks to his time as a pilot, he can fly most vehicles.
Strengths: Good with vehicles, former jedi.
Weaknesses:Thinks first, shoots later. (yes, that's a weakness.)
IC: Gander, AKA TK- 423, was a member of commander Galvii's unit. He was waiting for the commander to give the sign for the attack. He saw the other unit's doing the same. Those rebels were in for quite a surprise...
IC: Gves turned around fast and slew the unlucky rebel soldier with his vibro-knife. He turned to face the other rebel soldier and was looking into the barrel of his blaster rifle.
"Don't move" The soldier pulled out his holocom. "We've got an intruder Admiral. Should I bring him in?"
Admiral Orca appeared on the holocom. "Yes bring him in. But send out some soldiers. Make sure he's alone."
" Yes sir" The soldier did as he was told.
IC: Galvii saw the Rebel soldier surprise the assassin and was only moments too late to stop him from communicating with the officers in the base. However, he wasn't too late to keep him from apprehending the ranking assassin as he slew the soldier with a deep slash to the back of his torso. His unit followed up his actions, moving the body and pressing against the walls of the base, preparing to ambush any backup that was inbound.
Galvii Tonez signalled to his favorite trooper and second-in-command, TK-423, that he should take a few troopers and find another entrance to the base. Gader Kan nodded and broke off.
OOC: That WAS controlling my character. But i forgive ya, cause i would have done so anyway.
IC: Gander walked around for sometime, but then he spotted something. Two rebels, guarding something. Not wanting to take any risk, Gander requested Galvii to send some help to take them out. He pulled out his vibroblade and waited for an answer.
Vandar walked up to Galvii, and furiously blew up in his face. "What the heck are you here for?!?!? This was my mission! MY mission. I could have handled myslef just fine, but I have to say thanks. But don't follow me on my next mission.
OOC: I know what it was Doomgiver. Also, we're a melee unit, and I didn't know that vibroblades had safeties. Also, we're a very leet unit, so keep that in mind. Slapshot, posted at the same time, I editted.
IC: Receiving Gander's request over his radio, Galvii signalled to two more troopers to detach and follow TK-423; they nodded and silently ducked off. The rest of the unit stacked around the door and prepared for entry.
He ignored the assassin's complaints, acknowledging them only with a signal to be quiet and fall in. Then he shrugged his classic "orders are orders" shrug.
Galvii looked at the assassin and waited for him to fall in line with his troopers as a specialist wired a breaching charge to the door. He signalled to the troopers to activate their shields, and he powered his up, too. They were ready to enter the base.
OOC: You never said anywhere this was a melee unit, so it seemed logical that stormtroopers had blasters. But you're the commander so i'll edit it...
IC:The troopers arrived at Gander's location. Now it was three against two. Shouldn't be a problem. They crept as close as they could and then killed them both with some quick strokes. Gander informed his commander that the other entrance should be clear now. Then he went in.
[edit] OOC: woops, you did mention it. sorry.
Vander fell into line with the other troops. He didn't like this Gavlii. He thought to himself " Maybe I should try to slip a knife into his back in the heat of battle. Yeah, that might work. But for now I'll just hang back and let these troopers get killed."
He got a virbo-blade and slung his disruptior rifle over his back. The doors blew up with a loud BANG and Vandar, the troopers and Gavlii ran though the smoke into the base.
OOC: It's ok Doomgiver, don't sweat it.
IC: Galvii Tonez brandished his vibro-staff and charged in through the wrecked door. His unit barreled down the hallway, the front-runners making short work of the surprised Rebels they encountered.
He ordered small detachments into the various chambers that broke off from the main corridor. The area secured, he turned to the assassin.
"I'm taking three of my troopers to the power center of this base and planting the explosive charges as per my orders. Now that we've secured this holding, my troopers are finished with all ordered aggressive actions. As soon as we've planted the explosives, we're to withdraw to the forward command center. You're free to go about your mission, but you're on your own. Make sure you get out before the charges blow." Not waiting for a reply he turned his back on the assassin and activated his commlink.
"TK-423, proceed as ordered. Make your way through your breach to the central power unit. The specialists and I will meet up with you there. We've secured the west corridor as our footpoint. Over and out."
He turned to three waiting troopers. "Let's do this!"
Vandar nodded to Galvii, but he didn't notice. As him and the three troopers departed, he turned down the other hallway to search for the Admiral.
He peered around the corner and saw a pair of rebel soldiers running to discover what the loud bang was. Vandar smiled. He was going to enjoy this. He took the disruptior rifle off his back and looked through the scope. He pulled the trigger. The force of the blow sent the unsuspecting trooper flying back down the corridor.
The other trooper pulled his rifle and let a few rounds go at Vandar. Another quick, hard, trigger-pull silenced him. Vandar looked at his bleeding leg. The trooper had better aim than he had thought, and he had been shot in the leg. He didn't bother to hide the bodies as there was an attack and most people would figure the Imperials had done this. He put the disruptior rifle back on his back and hobbled down the hallway to find the Admiral.
The three troopers did what Galvii told them to do. They snook trough the corridors, trying to find a way to the central power unit. He just hoped it wasn't too well guarded. His vibroblade was pretty useless at a distance. Luckily, they could mostly kill the rebels by standing around corners and attacking when they passed. Then his group encountered a locked door, with the letters 'power room' on it. He grabbed his comlink and said: 'We've found it but it's locked. What to do?'
IC: Pulling his vibrostaff from a Rebel soldier's chest, Galvii Tonez replied to his commlink. "TK-423, hold position and establish a foothold is possible. Unit and specialist en route, we'll breach the door. Maintain defensive posture, don't get pulled from that position into other conflict. You have your orders, O and O."
He directed his unit to press onward.
Vandar leaned to look around the corner. He saw an entire battilion of rebel troops marching. There was at least a score of troops. Too many for him to handle alone. He looked down at his holocom. Galvii said he was on his own, but he had to try...
Vandar punched in TK-423's signal. "TK-423 this is elite assassin Gves Vandar. There is a squad of rebel troops closing on my position. Need backup. Please respond..."
Gander heard vandar's call. He ordered the other troops to defend their position, while he would help the assassin. He wasn't a part of the Imperial navy, but he was good, and Gander had the feeling they could use all the help they could get.
He picked up a dead guards blaster (just in case) and started looking for Vandar.
IC: Galvii Tonez kicked a Rebel's dismembered head down the hallway. It stopped bouncing and rolling with a wet thud against a very heavy looking door.
He signalled to his men that this was the objective. Two other members of his command emerged from the other end of the hall. They updated him on the current situation.
"Sir, TK-423 ordered us to maintain position. He headed to join the High Assassin and provide backup." Galvii rolled his eyes skyward.
"Alright, you five, proceed as ordered. Specialist TK-521, prepare the breach of that door. If I'm not back in fifteen minutes, blow it and neutralize any resistance inside that room. Wire the charges and proceed with objectives. Set the mechanisms and issue the evac code as planned. The foothold position won't withdraw until you join them. I'm going to bring back TK-423. As of this point, he's insubordinating and should be considered a deserter of this mission; apprehend him if you see him and radio me if you've got him. Hold this position and proceed with objectives if you don't think that you can maintain the hold. I'll meet you at the rendezvous if I'm not back by the time you blow this." He activated his commlink. "TK-423, where are you?" Nothing except static responed. He swore and headed off down the hall, stopping only to slash off a wounded Rebel's arm as he reached for his blaster with his dying breaths.
IC:Gander had just found Vandar and got ready for battle. The rebels fired at him, but he hid around a corner while he advised Vandar to do the same. Then he would simply wait until they came looking for him and slice them in half. At least, that's what he hoped to do, but these guys were smarter than the average soldier: They snook around him and fired from behind. Gander's helmet protected him from an otherwise fatal blow, but his comlink was down. 'great.' he thought. 'now i can't signal for help.'
He quickly killed the rebels standing around the other corner and hid there. 'I hope Vandar survives, or i will die for nothing.'
Vandar once again unslung the rifle from his back. "Another fun day," he thought as he took aim at one soldiers head. The impact force sent the head rolling.
The rebel soldiers were confused. They were getting hit from behind. And Gves Vandar was enjoying it.
Trikon was out on his Taun-Taun, checking for Imperial activity in the distance, when his comlink went off. After digging through about 5 layers of clothing, he finally found the small, metallic device. Putting it close to his almost frozen ears, he flipped a switch at the side.
After a small amount of crackling, he linked it up to his datapad, and tried to get a written translation of what was going on.
Nothing.
Then, the sound of blaster fire came through on the comlink, followed by screams as what sounded like soldiers being ripped to shreds by blades commenced.
Trikon'eri wasn't sure what was going on, but he definately wanted to know. That was the side that always led him into danger, but he didn't mind. He just wanted the thrill of combat again.
Signalling to his three bodyguards, Trikon'eri whipped the reins of his Taun-Taun and rode towards the base. Blaster in hand. And ready to make a quick retreat from the combat.

OOC: Hardcore, T10 :p
IC: Blaster fire? Wonderful... Galvii ran in the direction that he heard the shots coming from and nearly barrelled into a Rebel soldier as he turned a corner. Reacting quickly, he leaned back on his heal and swung with his doubleblade, opening an enormous wound in the soldier's chest.
He quickly dispatched another Rebel with a hard thrust through his neck when he turned to fire. As the body dropped, a disruptor shot bored its way towards Tonez. Nearly being cored by the shot, Galvii luckily dropped to the ground quickly enough, only suffering a burn on his shoulder from the stray shot. He looked up to see the assassin clutching his disruptor rifle right ahead of him.
That treacherous little... Recovering quickly, Galvii dropped his blade and leapt for the assassin, tackling him and knocking the rifle from his hands. Getting him in a tight pin and a stranglehold, he exploded in anger.
"What do you think you're doing?"
Vandar winced and Galvii tightened the hold on him. His mind raced. "How am I gonna bluff my way outta this one?," he thought as the grip tightened more and more. "There's nothing I can think of to do! and I got this blood-thirsty corellian on me... geez... what am I going to do.... "
OOC: Sorry about the triple post, my PC was playing up.
IC: As Trikon'eri neared the base, he dismounted the Taun-Taun, in an attempt to minimise his chances of detection. The bodyguards automatically followed, as the group walked slowly towards the base entrance.
Trikon looked down at the ground. There were bodies lying on the ground. They were dressed in the typical white and brown clothes of the Hoth Rebels. As there was no blaster scarring on the walls, they must've been taken by suprise. There were multiple footprints on the snow, all the same size.
Snowtroopers.
Pressing himself against the wall, he tapped in the code for the door. As it swished open, his bodyguards swung around the check the area. This corridor was clear. It looked like the Imperials had had no trouble once they had got into the base. Trikon'eri once more signalled to his bodyguards, giving them the order to keep going through the base. Ready for intruders.
OOC: Sorry that i was gone so long, my computer acted weird.
IC:Gander saw his commander, but he tought it was wise to stay hidden. Afterall, he did disobey a direct order. He slowly walked towards his commander, prepared to be punished. If he didn't wear his helmet, you could see the scared look on his face... Galvii was the only thing he really feared.
IC: "Answer me, core-slime! You want to take a pot shot at me, you'd better hit my skull next time, bantha brain!" Galvii's grip tightened around the assassin's throat. "Assaulting an Imperial officer, your subordinate or not, is a capitol offense, scum. I hope you like your internal organs well done, because I'll make sure someone feeds them to you one by one. Answer me!"
Galvii Tonez was red with rage under his stormtrooper helmet. He was thoroughly enraged by this attempt on his life by the arrogant assassin. And where was TK-423?
Vandar choked and gagged. "Dang it! Gonna hafta go with the flow next time..." ...
"Okay okay! What do you want" Galvii's grip loosened somewhat. He had hoped that TK-423 would help him but it seemed as if he wasn't going to...
IC: Another corridor, another set of bodies. As they got closer, there was something unusual about these bodies. They looked like they had been hit by a disruptor blast. Well. The remains looked like that. There were no marks on the wall. They were dealing with more than ordinary snow troopers here, they were dealing with elite Imperial commandos.
As he neared the secondary control centre, he got his bodyguards to check that the room was clear. It was, but there was no-one there. Logging into the main computer there, he began cycling through the security systems. None of the security doors had been blown open. That was good news.
Security cameras next. Main control centre clear. No, they weren't being ambushed. Hangar, clear. Primary reactor. Not clear. There were Imperial troops outside, setting up charges on the doors. The people inside were oblivious.
Switching off the cameras, Trikon'eri contacted the head of power in the base with a simple message. Prepare.
Gander got out of his hiding place. Galvii focused his anger on Vandar, so Gander should be safe for a while. He walked towards Galvii and said: 'Er, sir. I think you better release him now, before you kill him. Afterall, this wouldn't be the first time... And the Empire paid a high price for this guy. Someone will get pretty angry if you kill him.' Gander prepared himself to be strangled to death...
OCC:Galvii loosened his grip. Vandar breathed in great gulps of air. He stood up and dusted himself off. "Now, I must get back to my mission. I bid you goodbye."
Vandar ran down the hallway, thankful to get away from Galvii. "Dang it. The one time I miss, I have to miss him. Why? "
Vandar ran through hallways and corridors until he ran into the control room. There was one trooper. He was easily disposed of. Vandar decided to check the computers. What he found astonished him.
"I can't belive it. He left." Vandar sliced into some flight records. The Admiral had left just at the begining of the battle. Vandar would have to follow him.
He ran toward his TIE Interceptor. He cursed inwardly to himself. He was so foolish. He had engaged in unnecessary combat, and his target had escape.
Vandar got to where he left his ship. It was now just a few pieces of rubble now. Vandar swore loudly, cursing the Rebels, The Admiral, and most of all, Galvii. He hated that man. He would have to get even eventually.
IC: Trikon'eri watched as the small Rebel ships blasted away from the base. Out into space, where they could rendevous with the main rebel fleet. Then, checking once more on his cameras, he spotted a lone Imperial trooper standing in the main control centre. He left almost immediately, but Trikon had other plans.
Gesturing to a bodyguard, they moved to opposite ends of the room, and flipped open casings on the walls. Inside were places to put security chips. Trikon'eri was second in command of the base, due to his wealth. Just below him was his bodyguard, who had been well trained in security protocol.
Both nodding to each other, they inserted the clearence cards that they were issued with into the holes, and tapped in a code on control panels nearby. The effects were seen almost instantly.
Red lights started flashing all over the base, accompanied by blaring sirens. Blast doors began to seal over the doors of the compound, sealing everyone where they were. Now, unless they had permacrete detonators, the Imperials were stuck.
Then, opennning a channel wih the power room, he gave what were likely to be his final instructions to his rebel comrades. To set the reactor for overload.
