I created a lightsaber but the blade is a huge square. My question is how do you make it the right size. I went through both saber walkthroughs and it still comes out wrong. Any help would be appreciated.

rite i had this problem, i think for you it looks abit like a big cross. This means you havnt got the text file rite. In the saber walkthrough it says put some text (at the bottom of the bit were you 'write' the blade texture in kotor mod) the problem i found is that my text document tool is notepad, and for some reason this doesnt make the txt come into effect. So just download someone elses sabre, take the rite text document and rename it to the name of your blade e.g my_saber.txt, this isnt copying any of their work or anything so dont worry. And that should work.

All you have to do is make a new text document. Note pad will work fine. open it and write

blending additive
decal 1

save it. Then rename it to the same as your texture file name with the extension .txi w_lsabregren01.txi

it worked!!!! i entered blending additive decal 1 manually instead of copy & paste. thank you both.
