I've broken down and created a website to contain all the fruits of my obsession now.

All updates and downloads will be from there now.

Thanks.

hey suchan, i can't get either of those tutorials to work with my adobe acrobat. is there a specific version we need?

i'm pretty experienced at making lightsabers, the only information i was really needing is how to make a custom texture. i know how to edit textures, but i can only make them replace current ones, not create my own.

if the problem is with my computer, could you just email me the section on custom textures?

dj_owen@hotmail.com

thanks a lot.

Hey.

I compiled them with Acrobat 6, but I'm positive that I made them compliant with 5.0

I'll confirm this when I get home from work.

Sorry.

The tutorial doesn't go into custom texture creation, only the construction of the sabre itself.

I'm sure I could fire something up for you. You were just concerned about customizing the blade or the hilt?

I think you should tell Kitty Kitty and let her post it in "List of downloads - Tools and mods".

actually, i just need to know how to get a specific item to have a specific texture. for example, let's say i make an orange lightsaber color, how to i get that in-game without replacing a current color?

because currently, i'd have to change red to orange or something like that.

hope i'm being clear enough, i'm not sure how to word it.

No problem. That is covered in the tutorial.

To use your example, you would copy an existing color and use a hexeditor to repoint the sabre to the new file.

Super easy. I'll mail you that portion of the document if you like.
