I was thinking about this. The OJP needs a logo of some sort. Any suggestions or comments about this?

Hmmm, stylized OJP text of sort with a square background with a circle or triangle inset based on the Force abilities, like when Kyle quests for his saber in JO and the Force selection menu.

Or a variation of the Universal Man image, but with a Jedi and Sith overlapping. The Jedi half holding a single saber and the Sith half holding a saber staff?

Sure, I wouldn't have a problem with a OJP icon. However, I've had troubles with trying to get an icon created in the past, so I'll let you guys worry about it. :)

I got bored so a made a little model logo thing and put it into my renderer.
it's a saber coming out of a box, simple but i dunno, I figured open jedi project like it's in a box then it's opened up and let out... yeah, I know it's cheesy.

http://www.pureoc.d2g.com/uploaded_images/17549.png) Note that this is just a concept. I didn't spend very much time on it.

Insane, it needs to be small enough to fit on buttons etc. That way we can pimp the mod more effectively. :)

I think SD has a good point. Simplier is probably better.

I like SD's icon but it seems to be missing something....maybe a different color scheme?

mmmmm. I liked the original style better. Maybe just try inverting the colors?

And sorry about the slow response, I wasn't able to see the logos the last time I checked this thread.

Ok, I think that looks better. Mind hosting the others so we can compare?

In addition, are the edges of the circle suppose to be cut off by the edges of the picture? I think it would probably look better if it didn't do that.

Ok, I'll put them up later. And no, it's not supposed to have the edges cut off - that's just the way it happend. I'll make a new one later today.

Prehaps a suggestion?

Create a larger logo that can replace the repeating video of the shuttle arriving at Yavin IV on the main menu. I'm not sure how difficult it would be. Prehaps converting a single frame to the type of vid file JA uses. Since it would only be a single frame it wouldn't increase the file size overmuch...

Actually, the movie seen there is just a bunch of images in the assets file. It would be very easy to replace, but I don't know if we would want to do that anyway - OJP is sort of an 'under the hood' type mod, designed to be mostly invisible until you realize the awesome stuff it does.

The images:

I personally like #3 best. Maybe we should make a poll to decide among them or even if one of them is good enough.

I like #2 the best so far. Anyway, I'll start pointing people here and we will see what they think.

I like 1 or 2 - depending on what background it's being put onto :)

Just remember that if you have an idea for one and/or you don't like these, just tell me. I'll see if I can make one you like. I can put 1 & 2 on any background you like.

To demonstrate, here's some more I made:

I like #2 the best overall (in the listing of all five). And the plain background is best, unless maybe it had ignited sabers in it (just fairly plain is best, I think).
