We all know ads for Sam & Max first nationally appeared in those Fish Police comics from the 80s. What I'm wondering is if those comics are worth reading (other than for the S&M adverts.)
Thank you in advance.
Well yeah they are very worth reading. But you are never going to find them unless you get lucky. (Or someone wishes to share some scans with you.)
I can find them very easily on ebay, only about 1 or 2 dollars an issue.
OKAY WELL THEN DO IT. Damn.
Man for only a dollar or two, the content doesn't matter buy it, BUY IT!!!
The only reason I was wary about it was because I asked this on another forum and the people started complaining to me about how I brought back terrible childhood.
I enjoyed Fish Police a lot. And I believe it was an ad in a FP that introduced me to Sam and Max. So FP will always be in my top 20 list because of that.
Hey I just realized I read this wrong. I thought you were asking if the Sam and Max comics were worth reading. Nevermind, I don't know a damn thing about the Fish Police. (Who I thought meant Sam and Max because of the Fishwrap label...)

LMAO! Those poor little puppies...
There was a Fish Police cartoon at one point, they ran like 3 episodes of it on like fox i think. I don't know if it is in anyway related to the comics but i would imagine there arent too many diffrent types of fish police. I don't remeber anything about the cartoon, but for like $2 it is worth it for the Sam and max ads.
