Now that's what I call missing textures!

Move all non-Raven .pk3 files out of your base folder (all .pk3 files except assets*.pk3 and bonus.pk3 if you have it). If that makes the game go back to normal, one of your downloaded map files was causing a conflict.

If it still doesn't work, uninstall, reinstall, and re-patch to 1.01.

they're not missing textures, i had the same/a similar problem before. it was as if the fog had propagated 100 fold. the only thing that fixed it for me was reinstalling.

I have this problem too... it happens to me a lot on the Taspir 1 map. It can't be missing textures, because if there were missing textures, everything would be gray and white boxes. These are missing textures (Thanks to Forest Sanctuary!):

So this "fog" is a different problem...

Do you have the latest stable (ie: non beta) drivers for your video card?

If not, try that (or reinstall them) and see if that makes a difference.

Those white colored (untextured) boxes are most-likely cause by some map, i get it all the time.

Idly curious about that first pic, how the health number reads "50" and yet the bar is completely full
