I hate mortal kombat, i bought DA and was so very very disappointed with it.
Yeah, yet I hope this one is better, because some stuff in MKDA was pretty good.
Mortal Combat is probably one of the most overrated fighting series in my opinion. I'll take DOA over it any day.

Although I've given up on MK and moved on to Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO, it's good to hear they're bringing the "Nomadic Annihilator" back to the MK series.
I just think that I expect too much from console games, due to their capabilities and cost, than just two dudes fightin each other, no matter how cool it looks and how many combos there are....
yeah, MK4 was fun, but that was the last of it for moi, who was a *huge* MK fan in the early days,,,(I had MK 1-3 on my old genesis :D)

I hated the graphics in DA, the blood looked really stupid and all of the girls chests bounced around like they were gonna fly off.

well they tried an RPG-ish MK you heard of MK Special Forces that game was VERY pathetic.
but i will play this MK when it's released and see if i like it. cuz i really liked DA although the models had way to big hands and chest (men and women). i think they need to give each individual person there own skeletal structure. ya know like make Johnny Cage a lil bit more scrawny than Sub Zero and Scorpion. but i will agree that in DA the blood effects were a lil to over the top.

I think it'l; be worth the try. Fomr there who knows. Although i was a big fan of Tau Fang. It was neat.

It sort of is. No blood, killer 2D graphics, and an awesome single/team super combo system basically make MK's fatalities look like crud, in my opinion. No offense, Hobby. ;)
