I think many people overlook these signatures. The help you figure out a little bit about the person. for example mine would tell you that im a big LOTR and Myst fan (or GEEK). Do you agree???

you can usually tell by their avatar alone, but here at LF it is given that 99% of everybody is a LOTR fan and 98% are Matrix fans and 100% are star wars fans. Hmm, glad I had sigs turned off here.

No, his sig takes up like half a page of quotes.
Anyways, I just recorded the BFV advert and changed it around before converting it into a gif. I guess it shows that I'm a Battlefield fan.

I dont think ppl overlook sigs at all. I find them quite interesting to look at. So yes, visual sigs are most effective. I had mine done recently(with thanx to lexx) and I love it. It shows that I'm, um,,,,,a final fantasy nut !!
So, you better do what Darklighter has asked, and then head over to the sig pics thread and ask nicely for someone to make you a cool sig pic !!

I've always liked the bad guys in movies. Vader, Emperor, Maul, The Nazgul, Sauron etc...
I like playing the bad guys in games and often write stories based around them. And yes, I often like to portray myself as a villain type in reall life. But anyone who really knows me knows that its only an act and not a reflection of my true nature (well, not completly...;) )

I have mine at 1024 x 768 - so it does take up an entire screen for me.
