well, blink is more emo than punk, but yea, I like punk, and I have liked blink ....forever...it was the first band I ever liked.

blink played at my university, it was 1994 and they werent that hot back then......but at least I can say Ive seen them....

Whatchu talkin bout, Blink 182 is punk. I don't care what anyone says, they go in the punk section at a music store, theyr're punk. And the only people I know who don't think blink 182 is punk, don't even like punk.

And yeah they're the first punk band I ever liked, and their first song I heard was What's my age again. But my favorite song is The Party Song, and I know all the lyrics by heart.

and punk and punk rock don't have any difference at all, just different terms for the same thing, I see the same band advertised as punk, and then another time as punk rock, all the time.

Ha ha, yeah I remember you man. But yeah the shattered night kinda changed and lost it's plot and I just stopped going to the site so when I came back it was already quite a way through so I didn't really want to join again. But mabee I will now.
And yeah I went on the religious threads and then got mad cuz even the other christians were against me, and my threads turned into flame wars so I left and have never gone back there.
And I don't intend to cuz I'm just throwing my pearls to pigs there.
I'm a calvanistic baptist. I believe the five points of calvanism. But it seems like I'm the only one. Anyway I don't care about arguing about religion and evolution and all that anymore. Disscussing is one thing, but it usualy turns into arguing.
And I guess I did make an ass of myself and ruin my testimony by swearing at a guy who sent me a nasty pm. (not somthing a christian should do, but I never claimed to be perfect.)

eh....if you don't know what emo is....its....well i'm assuming you dont know what real punk is....not that it matters....as I recall blink's boxcar racer album was called punk...some of the songs in it are punk...and the party song is a cool song but not really punk....maybe more so than the new album...but not really.
the older albums were more punk ...like....budda...either way its good music...just more rock than punk rock....really dude....it isn't really punk...lol....just like good charlotte is not punk, they just insist they are. They are pop rock.
Blink 182 is rock....nothing more.

yeah I know, I only said that cuz it was on a funny movie and I was trying to be cool, but it didn't work. So I'm sorry.
And I'm wondering if theres an official band catagory system or if it's just a matter of oppinion. Cuz seriously the only people I've encountered who don't think blink 182 and good charlotte are punk don't even like or listn to punk. I now alot of people way more hard core punk than I who consider both those bands punk.
And from what your saying of Emo it's making me think of that old stuff like the Ramones.
