I am suprised to hear your complaints about different tactics used multiplayer in AOK or Battlegrounds. All of those can be stopped very easily with good scouting. Good scouting is a very important part of the game that most people overlook. Sending one scout out to scout a large map just shouldnt get it done. Unfortunately, all of you people who complain about tower rush, or building towers around the ruins, probably just try to mass as many troops as you can together and then charge. Well thats not strategy, and this is a Real-Time STRATEGY game. I have also discovered that Artillery is extremely effective against towers, so if someone built towers around your base just get some artillery and knock them out. Then he has wasted valuable resources for nothing. The bottom line is, scout the map, like armies do in REAL LIFE, and none of this will be a problem.

yes you're rite, artillery is effective against the tower rush. i found that out the hard way:cool:

anyhow, the tower rush is a very cheap move IMO if you ask me. it's just one of those no-no's you should never do in an rts game, and anyone who plans on using that strategy should play with others who focus on that as well. tower rush is NOT real strategy if you ask me, b/c anybody can do that. the game will become a major clickfest on that note.
