Hey again people,

Solved the falling through solids problem and gotta sky working.

Ah which reminds me, I need the Hoth sky but can't find the hoth skies - neither under "hoth" nor "skyies", does anyone know where I can find it.

Doors- my door is very visible while editing, but when I compile it vanishes, and I can't find out why.

And also a texture that I know works for my ceiling has suddenly quit loading in the compile (it's there in Radiant) and it just looks black now.

If anyone could shed some light for me I would be very grateful :)

[edit] oh and it looks like I'm going to have to learn modelling to do some of the features I want in my map, so I can add it to my list of things to learn, how do I get a new object (not weapon or player model, e.g. a different chair, for a dumb example) into a map ? *points to self, indicating that he knows nothing*

textures/jnegretetest/hoth_sky

so its a func_door eh?

Thanks, will check out that sky :) Will I need to e-mail someone to use that sky should I choose to release it publicly?

Door
- Texture: h_door2 (obviously, under the hoth texture set)
- Keys: classname func_door

Yup, techincal I know :p. Needless to say this is my first door attempt. I prefer open door ways, but want to do real doors on this map in prep for a later, better one.

Oh and the texture that has quit appearing on my ceiling is sandfloor2_phong (from the desert texture set).

Thanks :)

I hate to do this, but anyone have an idea why these things are happening when there appears to be no logical reason why?

Thanks :)
