CoD has been a soild game so far, its one of the best games i've ever played

But sometimes i get some error message when i try to load a game in SP when i use a new mod or skin, like it failed to load that saved game.
There is a patch, but its for MP only, can someone help me?
You can't load up old save-games with a different mod. It's the same as Jedi Academy. Believe it or not, they use the same engine.

Dont think so, i load up a save game in jedi academy and jedi outcast (they both use the same engine right?) I could load the saved game with no problems and that mod/skin works fine.
JA and CoD both use the Q3 engine. So they should theoretically be the same. Which mod are you trying to use?
EDIT: You could always try typing 'spdevmap x' (x is the map e.g. stalingrad) into the console. It works without enabling the cheats.

I hired Elder Scrolls 3 from the local Blockbuster recently, they *accidentally* put CoD into the cases as well...wouldya believe !

but I have never gotten around to playing it..... not my scene pretending I'm a big strong army man.....
I'd rather pansy around in an unrealistic fantasy world like "Final Fantasy" :p ...or strut around in snazzy armour defeating demonic forces of evil as a paladin/ranger/sorceror in Neverwinter Nights.... :D

Yeah its really too expensive, because they know that its the best game right now and purposely didnt lower the price or give a discount to make you pay for it.

It's my favorite game at the moment. I have not tried to load any mods yet, and I have not had any problems so far.
Well, my friend got it for 20-25 bucks (I honestly can't remember) off of eBay... so that may be the place to look... apparently...

What server do you play on?
Depends on what time of day it is. During the early evening hours I play on -=LMAO=- server, and if it is late at night to early morning, I play on a server called Kelly's Heroes. I mostly play allies on Team Deathmatch. :)
Well i only play in asian servers, like japan, korea and singapore. As i get lower pings there.
You and Phizzle should shoot me a PM, let's see what times you guys play, and match up sometime.
I tend to play on UK servers - so I can have a good, low ping game. I can go up to about pings of 200 before I get any lag.
I picked up CoD for Ј29.99, which is pretty good considering most pc games are Ј35.99 in the UK.
I wanna get it yet Gotta save the cash...

Yeah, CoD MP is pretty furious, unless your on Hertgen and everyone sits around with a sniper rifle. I hate the CoD sniper rifle.
It's kinda like UT2K4 (or any of the UT games) which is run as fast as you can in different directions shooting constantly.

I know one secret hiding place in hurgent, great for sniping. Even my teammates cant find me :evil2:
