I am not a fan of singleplayer only games. The reason is because once u beat it in every possible way, the game will be boring. I like multiplayer games cuz every game is a different experience and there are always cool mods ppl make. I heard that kotor is a great game. So is it worth it? Wish it had multiplayer support.

Lets put it this way:

- Ban George Lucas from writing another Star Wars script
- Hire BioWare to replace George Lucas's scripting

Kick ass game, even if it's based off the d20 system.

Buy it. NOW.

There's so many ways of going through the game. There's hundreds of hours of gameplay in kotor. Speading through it the first time took me about 40 hours. Good luck beating it every way possible.

Unless you'll miss players yelling, "WTF NO HONOURZz!!oneshiftonetwo!11" run and buy kotor.

That aside, RPG's like KotOR provide not only a depth of story and personal character development, but a variety in encounters and strategy. It really is a story of epic proportions, and is a great story - one that I like better than any other RPG (incl BG2 and NWN).

I'm looking forward to my next time through KotOR ... absence makes the heart grow fonder ...

I'm sure I'll enjoy it as well...once I get a new computer.

Till then, I can only look wistfully at the booklet while cursing my inferior graphics card and inadequate 600 Mhz speed.

KOTOR > 99% of all games.

There, it's a freakin mathematical equation, you need no more proof. Math cannot be refuted.

Basically, if you like great storylines, an involving game(RPG), and some cool EU era Star wars action, then you'll love KOTOR. If all you want to do is run around and pointlessly shoot ppl, stick to your FPS stuff.....

Yeah, actually, I have a friend who normally wouldn't touch a SW game with a 10 foot pole, and he spends most of his time playing BF1942. However I was over at his house the other night and he was playing KOTOR, said he's addicted to it, and is doing his 2nd darkside campaign....

To convert the likes of him, its gotta be good......

Buy it, steal it - do whatever you have to do to be able to play this game!

You will NOT regret it.

If you do, we will have a big ceremony and sacrifice Rhett to George Lucas.

Smeh, it was alright for me. Although that's probably because I got a game-stopping bug right before I was about to kill The One. Tried the patch, and it didnt fix it. :/

Has anyone ever gotten a glitch where the amount of hours you spent in the game zooms up to the millions? Then, after that happened, you go into the ebon hawke to discover there's a swoop droid and galaxy droid in your ship? Btw, the galaxy droid can even take you to taris!

Yes but it ruins the game I suggest you do not use the galaxy droid.
