Yeppers, 4 days to find something for my g.f. for that blasted VALENTINES day, and I've got no ideas. Someone give me some help so I don't look like a goober.

Maybe I shoulda mentioned she's still in school and lives at home, not to mention I get the sneaking suspision that her family doesn't like me, so that makes it hard to get in her room(a room she shares with a sister), poem writing is my bane, and we don't have a sexual relationship.

but seriously, first valentines after a short period into the relationship should be very informal. Just some flowers, and do something nice together, have dinner, and just get to know each other, and DONT TALK ABOUT THE FUTURE(ie in terms of your relationship)......

You have the internet, why not look it up. With each new woman I am blessed with a new set of rules. Things that applied in past relationships don't mean squat in a new one. To keep myself out of the dog house, I just did some recon (you know ask her mom, sister, etc). I also looked up the most popular gifts and voila... I'm back in the saddle again!
BTW: Don't get her flowers, it's too predictable notto mention this close to the big "V" day you may get the bottom-feeder leftovers. Give her chocolate instead (unless she has a eating disorder like mine did). Teddy Bears work too.
I hate being broke, otherwise I could get her some more bellybutton jewelry:naughty:

cook her a candle lit dinner and have a night between the 2 of you by yourselves and have some nice conversation. this is what i do and it's the day that she will remember the whole year.

Oh I did teh candle dinner thing like 2 or three Vdays ago. Turned out pretty good. He's supposidly taking me somewhere though I'm not so sure where.
I ended up getting him a pair of "Catfish" sunglasses Arnettes. I went over the $40 budget...but I'll just tell him Matthew pitched his $40 spending limit in too. ;)

My hubby and I are having a day out tommorow. My mum is babysitting for us. We are going to see ROTK (finally) and have a nice meal and just basically enjoy each others company. I still haven't got him anything yet, but I'm gonna go up the shops soon and get him some kinda gadget as he's gadget mad. The problem is, we have just about every gadget known to man, so I have no idea what yet, but I'm sure I'll find something. =)
