I recently inststaled Omni Mod 2.0 so I could have 64 vehicles at once. So, I poped 25-odd vehicles in my base folder and activated the mod, but i still got a .veh error. Whats going on? I'm sure i don't have more than 64 vehicles.
OmniMOD is crap. Remove it from your computer at once.
I know it is crap. The ONLY reason i got it was so I could use more vehicles. I frankly dont care about any other of its features.
Other mods extend the vehicle limit as well. Try the OJP mod.
Ok. I guess that 64 veh limit was too good to be true.

I thk OJP only goes to 32 am I right?
Ah, I can't find the vehicle limit that OJP raises to, but I know that it does raise the limit. Here's a post at OJP forums about OmniMOD:

It's either the OmniMOD team's problem when implementing it or the OJP code doesn't work at 100%. Apparently, the author of OmniMOD didn't fix the limit, but attempted to.
Ahh, then i'll go with OJP then. Thanks.
You also have to increase the files size for the .veh files. Then it will work. People should really thoroughly test their work before releasing, don't you agree?
Well, that's what you get when you let BOFH know what you did before you actually made sure it works first. :D
And, yes, the OJP code now has a tested and working fix for the vehicle limit. We're waiting on TCK's RGB saber code to be added before we release a compiled version of it.
And, finally, it's not the file size limit that's the problem, it's the size of the read buffer. It's too small to be able to handle any sort of vehicle limit increase. It's very easy to fix once you know what you're doing.
The Last hope mod also changes it to 64....

Does it actually work? I haven't tried it yet.
