I had taken that before. If I remember correctly I got a 108, whitch is O-K but I was told that a test can't tell me how smart I am.

That IQ test is a a gimmick.
Tests must be tailored to your age and education level, even your cultural background. To get a valid IQ, most counsellors and psychologists can administer them, and of course psychiatrists too, if you can afford that :)
Standardised IQ tests are actually developed according to APA(American Psychiatric Assoc) guidelines, and with this there is extensiv associatede literature about "What an IQ score actually means" As many who have followed that link will find out, it eventually gets to a bit where it asks you to BUY their magnificent program......as I said, a gimmick...

No, I took it twice. The second time I purposely was aiming for crap. I didn't even read the questions (for the most part) and got a 75...
I got a 135 the first time. It probably just gives you a number based on your precentage. No "complicated scientific" formula involved... If it's just a raw percentage, then it'd be fairly easy to get a 40. A good deal of the math is above Algebra I and you'd need a (relatively) extended vocabulary on the English questions.
I don't even know why we're talking about this, it's an ad...

I don't belive that this test would measure intelligence really. I, for one, no more science then anything else. I didn't see anything about science on the test. That's why an average of scientists score as high as i did (127). I could get a low score (40, cough cough :D ) because i don't have math or literature skills, but i could still be intelligent in other fields.
No matter how accurate this test may claim to be, it isn't accurate.

according to the state of texas and my administrator of my IQ test i have an IQ of 165 lil high and some don't believe but it don't matter.

Thats why the SATS are morally deformed. A kid on Long Island (well, he's a teacher now) got a 100 on the SAT, took it again and scored a 1000. The SAT people accused him of cheating (if its an IQ test, how did he get 1000?). The kid won in court.

Meh, I got 124 and I'm 14 this month, without guessing. But then it didn't let me say that I was still in school at the end (When it had those choices).

What I want to clarify is that a proper IQ test, as administred by a psychiatrist/psychologist for example would be tailored to the various factors I mentioend above. The reason many are getting OK scores is that this test is very general, and actually aimed at kids(if youve noticed the marketing associated with it it is directed at teachers and the like.....)

I got a 126. Be it crap or not, I thought it kinda helped in some way that I do not know. And I guess I'm an "Insightful Linguist". Whatever the hell that is.

I highly doubt it. On one online IQ test I took, every single answer (it was multiple choice) was the first one. Just do that quickly on that one test, and you'll score as a supergenius...
