Actually if its a mod you put it in a folder in the gamedata folder. It may luke like this

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\Your Mod\

Regular models and other files such as sounds and ect go in Base folder

C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base

For some mods like jedi academy reloaded, the folder should be called "reload", if you rename it, it may not show up on the mods list. (same for xMod)

So just leave it.

Did you put the .pk3s out of the .zips? Once you take the .pk3s out of the .zips, put the .pk3s in the base folder, then choose the character in multiplayer and enjoy!

Note that most skins are for Multiplayer only and works only on pure servers, so if you're refering to single player, thats why their not working

Check the readme for more info.
