On some levels i get a very bad fog type effect, which makes it so i cant view across a distance, or see holes in the floor

any idears how to get rid of this?

I remember there's a command to get rid of it, but I can't remember it right now...perhaps r_we, but I don't think so. :confused:

That fog is supposed to be there, it helps your system run better ;)

Yeah.. a lot of people don't like the fog on Hoth :P

I think its r_fogdistance/r_distancefog or something, cant really remember. Once i put it to a really high number and everywhere was mushroom soup. :D

some JKA levels are huge! If you dont have the fog, your FPS is going to drop, badly. Especially on levels like that t2_trip (was that name?) thats probably one of the biggest levels.. and correlia level.

Not really, you'll just see things pop up in the distance, because you can't have a workaround for distanceCull. SO yeah, it'd look horrible.

Yeah, i turned off fog and my fps dropped from 50 to 20+ :( aint a good idea

Yeah, but it doesnt control how far or how near to fog is, i remember theres a command to make the fog totally disappea, make more fog.

That command only removes/adds only a little more fog.
