It's hard to take the writer of that seriously. The guy said sam and max started in 1993. Obviously hasn't done his research. Even the bit about steve being involved with the creation of comics in the past few years. I highly doubt that. He hasn't made a comic IN years. Dude needs to lay off the bullsh*t

That would be sweet if he did do something in a comic though. Give me something to look for. The guy just can't say Purcell did this and then not mention examples. NO MORE TEASING MY WALLET.

How old is this article? It actually has a link about FT2. Just calm down, wait a few months, and you'll be playing more Sam and Max in no time. (well, actually, you'll be playing it in a few months, not "no time," but saying it again would sound stupid...)

On another note, there was a reference to DOTT in the article and I got to thinking: Lucasarts allready saw fit to release S&M:HTR as a freebie (albeit a buggy and not-working-ish one), so does anyone know of plans to include HTR somewhere on a random computer a la Ed's? Would be nice. Someone may have already brought this up, but I'm not bored enough to go through the posts and check. Oh well.

Is it really coming out in May? There have been no articles about it anywhere, I doubt they'll be able to finish it in 4 months if they don't have anything good enough to show to the media.

They say Quarter 1 of this year right? So I'd say April 14, 2015. With all delays figured in.

Secret rumors have basically told me to expect the game to be delayed. So we should all expect the game to be delayed. The upside of the game maybe getting delayed is that LucasArts might show it at E3, which would mean the press will actually pay attention to it for a week or so.

Yeah, thats what I figured. And you're right about E3 jake, so far Sam and Max 2 has had almost no media exposure. It would be good if they had it on display and playable at E3.

Lets just hpe its not a Half-Life 2 sized delay.

It's hard to get media attention when the site is never updated!

Its more about LucasArts not sending out screenshots to magazines yet more than them updating their own company website.

Yeah company sites are often times not updated for years, thats not a major source of screenshots and info.

Yeah, but typically LucasArts goes banzai with screenshots, but for this its all like top secrety and stuff. I guess I'm kinda glad, I'd hate to see too much before I get the game, but a little bit occasionally would be nice.

My guess is Sam & Max will appear sometime during the fall, in the lull between summer and when all the extreme games come out for the holidays... august, september? Maybe thats really off, actually. Who knows.

no, it isnt sarcasm, LucasArts isn't known to have a lot of delays, now if it were Blizzard, or Forgotten Realms or somebody like that i would expect delays

jeez, if wwe're going all out, lets say lets hope its not a DUKE NUKEM FOREVER delay, that game has been in development, for what, 6 or 7 years? it was supposed to come out like 5 years ago

(dont know exactly when because i just woke up, so stick with me)

Well, I'm planning to raid the LucasArts development center to secure a copy. I've got this huge plan, kinda like Mission Impossible. Problem is I'm just to darn lazy.

As of right now, the only long time dudes that are still around is jester, jake and myself.

quackass doesn't post here much at all, I'm guessin cause he's workin hard in vancouver city.

Sean got mad, and kicked off?

Renata is long gone.

And thats about it for those who even transferred over from the old school board that all you new guys will have no idea about.

So technically, theres only 3 of the oldies left.

actually ive been comin to these sam and max sites for abt 7 years..sad really but its actually gonna pay off with a new game!

i find it more sad that you really think they'll give you a free game on that basis, if they do give out free advance copies (which i highly doubt, if they ever do, they'll prob. be review copies) prob. only people that run websites will get one

and i doubt that how long you'e been on the board matters, some of us didnt even know about the forum until recently, but have loved S&M our whole lives

You are all moochers. As long as I remember how to be sacrilegious and make up quotes from the bible, you are all sinners. We all know Rufus 19:10 right?

though shall not let moochers into thine hut

To you are all banished to the pits of hell (except you Andrew, you are likely to get a gift from zombie Jesus, congrats).

And now to the point of posting, samandmaxfiend, you say you are a big fan and by extension I assumed you actually have copies of the comics. Being a fellow Australian, I feel compelled to ask you to divulge where you purchased your comics.

That was lucky. Just this weekend I met a person who owns ‘surfin' the highway’ in a Sydney based comic store; Comic Kingdom. Alas, he was not willing to sell. Hopefully the gypsy curse I placed upon him has kicked in by now.

Thats right, in the entire scope of Sam&Max/Internet History we're currently having our mid-life crisis. I'm gonna go wrangle me a trophy wife and a car thats vaugely resembles a penis.
