I've installed grim fandango successfully, however the game will never start. You hit the play button and it says you have to install directX 6. I have 9 but i went ahead and clicked to install six. I reinstall it but it just keeps saying install dx 6 when i press the play button.
I also am trying to run this on windows XP. What can i do?

Have you checked out any of the other XP/DirectX related threads posted in the last couple months here? Some of them may have the answer to your problem. Actually I'm stuck getting GF to work in Win2k at the moment, so I really wouldn't be much help. There are other, smarter people who have posted in the XP/DX related threads, so you really should have a look.
