Where: For now, I'll host the game. I have a pretty good puter with DSL. If someone knows their machine/connection is better than mine, we'll talk and see. If there is unbearable lag connecting to me, we'll just find a server to join and play. So far, I've hosted 5 people before. And got no complaints. I'm hoping to be able to do 10 or so.

If you have the game, and might be interested in playing a few games during the week or over the weekend, let me know. I'll try to set something up.
Also, if you can host (have a leet machine or some form of fast broadband) or know of a good server to play on, say so. I have a DSL, but I never know if there's lag since I have 0 ping.
I don't have Battlefield but after I get 512Mb Ram I'll be more than happy to join you.

While everyone was playing BF1942 I was busy catching up with MOH due to a late pc ugrade. After a long time I tried one of the available demoґs but it didnt really appeal to me.
I have BF1942, RtR, and SWoWWII. :D

Don't wait for Battlefront, by Battlefield: Vietnam when it comes out in march. It looks better than SWBF (in my opinoin. ;) )

ive just got a copy of Battlefield, no expansions
and ZBomber, Battlefield: Vietnam is a completely new game and is stand alone, so you dont need anything to play it...other than a copy of it of course:D

All you need is the original, and id your lucky youll find a bonus pack for 50 bucks US. It includes BF:1942 and BF:1942 RTR. And then SWoWW2 is seperate for like 30 bucks. If you want you dont have to get RTR, but the original is 40 bucks, so oure saving 10 bucks with the pack.
If you buy Vietnam, all you really need is BF:1942, i think. :)
Most likely, we'll be playing original, unless everyone has RtR.
I'm thinking of doing this on Saturday in the afternoon (to be nice to some of us that are on the other side of the world). Probably around 2 or 3 PM EST (sorry, no idea in other time zones)
Also, most likely, those of us with the Desert Combat Mod will play another game.

Man, could you guys please postpone it. I have skiing that day at that time dont get home until 5 PM EST, or 8 PM EST. Well if you guys cant, have fun. Even though id kick your butts. :p . j/k im just average. I specialise in ground and air transport, like send parashooters over enemy basses, and bringing troops to the frontlines. Im also crazy with rocket launcher :)
Well, if I could get a Star Wars verison of the game, I probably won't get this one. I'm not really a big army kinda guy anyways, but I played a Road to Rome demo (I think) and it WAS really fun. I'll see how much money i got after I get Battlefront. ;)

I have DC mod (even though I don't play it that much). They've made tons of changes in 0.6f, it almost feels complete.
You say 3PM EST on Saturday, but anyone know what that would be GMT?

The DC mod lags like hell on my comp for unknown reasons. My comp runs BF1942 so smoothly but DC. argh...
GMT? Hmmm...it would be a +5 hours so 8 PM.
