im pretty new to the new jedi academy and i see that FFA and duels are a pretty popular gametype among the communities. anyhow, after creating a CTF map (http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=121005) for JA i want to make a duel / small FFA map but would like some suggestions from you lot as to what makes a good dueling map. do pits ect just piss ppl off or do u enjoy force pushing helpless victims to their doom. reason is im keen to make a map based on this webpage http://www.starwars.com/episode-vi/classic/2000/03/classic20000313_snapshot.html) but having to dodge lava would get too annoying? i guess the roof would need to be higher aswell. if anyone has more info on this webpage that would be great, as thats the only pic i can find

put what YOU want in it, its your map. If it has nice detail, and something really cool about it, then it will succeed.

I agree with that.

That being said, people tend not to like the ledge pushing in duels (and some don't like it anywhere :) ). So if you put ledges in your map, people may just end up using no force with it.
