I need help, my game crashes almost everytime a "vision" movie clip is supposed to be played. This was an annoyance but now has become a serious problem.

I have reached the part where you must free the others from the detention cell on the Leviathian. I chose to use Mission. I access the computer and tell it to open all detention cell doors it does but then immediately goes black and eventually crashes to the desktop. I am using a GeForce Ti 4200 with the latest drivers, XP Pro, 512 RAM, Athalon XP 2000+. This is really angering me because I really enjoy the game and wish to contiue but can not. Anyone with a suggestion please post. Thanks.
