Ok so who is the best at natural terrain? Im good but im not the best. Im planning a CTF level you see.
you can spend alot of time making every brush connect just right or what is easier is you can go to the plugins at the top of radiant and do gtkgensurf/ground surface and that makes hilled ground.
Or use 3D Studio Max and a Plane...YDNAR has made texture blending on meshes possible, it works superbly!
I can't really use the gensurf in Radiant itself also when i occasionally have some luck around all the curves are shedloads of sparklies which doesnt make sense as its caulked behind.
Im good(ish) with GTK Gensurf but i don't think you can make bezier patches with it?
Imperial construction yards, town from gremlins, carin bay, Matrix lobby Can't you just stick to one? Okay here is what you do kid use patch meshes they work the best
No, they don't. Browse the q3map2 forum at
www.splashdamage.com) and read more at
www.shaderlab.com). q3map2 allows for some absolutely incredible terrain.
