So, what if the afterlife is like Grim Fandango?

I'd head straight for the Ninth Underworld. The sooner I could get there the better. The Land of the Dead seems like a dangerous place to me.

but what if there is no Ninth Underworld?

Screw the four-year-transition! Like Domino said on year 3, I'd find the way to "...make the land of the dead livable!" I'd just probably stay in Rubacava and be like Maximino (or Nick Virago without his crappy death, lol).

Nick doesn't die? Does he?

On topic: I wouldn't be really happy to tell the truth because well your dead! Seriously you wouldn't be happy you may even be crying :(

Nick Virago was on the Number 9 that turns into a demonic train and goes into what is presumably the equivalent of hell (or perhaps you're simply destroyed if you go down there). ;)
