i keep getting an error when i load radiant, its buggin me, i cant get on anything except the options when it says would you like to view the config settings before quiting

Have you tried updating your video drivers lately, because seeing that radiant keeps listing errors in regards to OpenGL makes me think that it needs new drivers in order to render things that can be used in Jedi Academy. But thats just me.
ok il check it out, but i dont really think it will matter, due to me using a GForce 4, but heck, im only 15, so il take your advice

get the latest WHQL drivers from nvida keep away from 5x.xx detinators there beta and have there problems also remove GTK delete any dirs to do with it the same with JA/JO reinstall the lot
The Radiant Phucked up my single player games. when ever i start a new one i get black floor and walls covered with white stripes

Did you Uninstall and Re-Install the Mapping tools though? There might be a bogus link from the previous JA Install that is causing problems... Try uinstalling the GTKRadiant, then uninstall Jedi Academy, and make sure to remove any bogus/remaining files in the folders and then re-install Academy, and then GTKRadiant.

Hey yeah.. thats the same exact error i have!!! So it looks like it isnt a driver problem (my card hasnt released any new drivrs, and i doubt it will) so what is it!!!??? Man i really hope that if raven makes a JA Radiant, i dont get an error like this!

Ok, the problem was (this is stupid, but it works) GTK wont run if your desktop is on 16bit color! So just turn it up. (mines on 24 bit, but i think its better to run it on 32 bit)

Yeah, i was about to report the bug, when i decided to check out there forum, and someone had the problem (a lot of people) and someone changed it to 32 bit, and it worked. They really need to fix that up though in the next GTK release. Im glad it worked!

rolf, i was on the verge of formatting my computer, i got so peeved off :)
I was just ganna stop mapping, because windows came on my pc, so if i reformatted i wouldnt have a pc (no disk :( )
already running at 32-bit. still get the OpenGL error. :mad:
Dont worry about it, GTK doesnt run properly for me (at least it runs :) ) but since i cant map properly in its condition, i converted jk2 radiant to JA... so i really dont need GTK now :)
