You cant...

its different for each mission....
and the rest of the fighters can be flown when you scored high or are a couple of mission farther.

it depends, do you have the n64 version or pc version?

basically, all you need to do is get a gold medal on battle of hoth. So for N64, the passcode for all levels is Deaddack, go and get a gold medal on hoth, and u have all the ships.

For PC you can type in the oompawampa code, and get a gold medal on hoth...OR you could be REALLY cheap, and go to Luka's site (http://rogue.squadron.tripod.com) and go to the downloads page, and dload RogueEdit, and give yourself a gold medal on hoth.
