Where can i get the JA map editor? - LucasForums

I would really appreaciate it guys..if someone could point me in the right direction?I have a great urge to make a map,so where can i get the JA map editor??

oh yeah i'm new in this forum..so cut me some slack..

Here ya go mate. This new version is still in beta though. I'm not a fan of JKradiant so I use the GTKradiant. If you don't feel like playing around with a beta, just do a search on google.com for the 1.3.11 version.

Oh yeah, the tools from LucasArts haven't been released yet if that's the one your looking for.

Actually, the beta works really well right now. I think just about everything is working properly. I've been helping with the beta for the past couple days and everythings there aside from some of the textures not showing up in the viewer. They're there, you see the little blue/black texture, you just don't see the normal texture your use to seeing. They'll be there when the finished version is released. Its worth checking out if anything. :cool:

guys i've dl the map editor from lucasfile website..but i cant seem to open the file..to install..it say like error unpacking..file currupted..

what the cow?? any solutions?:confused:

Try GTK Radiant 1.3.12 final - http://www.qeradiant.com/?data=files&files_id=68) - if you get a corrupt download you need to download it again. I'd highly recommend a download accelerator like DAP or Getright to help.

got a problem..got the files..dl it and all..but when i try to start the program..

it dosnt seem to work..some window pops up and telling me about a error,and asking me to clean it up..

think i dl the file into the wrong path or something?

trying to use JA map editor..

and links to a tutorial..?
or must i configure it? or maybe dl something additional?

help will be appreciated..

Screenshots of the errors or exactly what they say would be useful...I work better from screenshots personally, they seem to tell you more.
