i am asuming you have dial-up?

well there are 2 flavours of internet connection....broad-band....and dial-up......boradband = fast but expensive.......dial-up = slow, but basically free.......just phone your local ISP (internet service provider...) if you want to switch. :)

now there a few flavours of broad-band (there diffrent dial-ups, but if you bought your computer in the last couple of years your garunteed to have a 56k...)

cable: cheap (well compared to other broadbands...) and fast....unfortunatly you have to "share' your bandwidth (downloading "room"...) with everyone else who is using cable in your area........proberly the best price\preformance ratio though )

xDSL: More expensive (thats why it is generally used for bussiness....), faster and you don't have to share :D .........but the extra $$$ proberly arn't worth it :)

T1,2,3: well we are never going to get a personal T3 connection....i just had to mention it for sheer drool factor :D

if there is cable access where you are....GET IT! another person to host games for the 56k Army.....ya LPB! (low ping bastered....) :D

Well it cuts down an hour or two. *Cries* 56k is terrible!
EDIT
-It has been 10 lonely minutes(well more like 6) and its still only 1.70 MB out of 69.9 MB... At this rate it should take over an hour!

What did you figure with 56k???
Isn't this a great reason for getting Cable or DSL???:D

YoWW!!!! This is fast I'm on a school computer(I'm grounded at home hehe but home's getting DSL in about 1 weeks so I better be good). But the school computers all have 56k and it's been 2 minutes and it already has 27% downloaded so I guess I'll be playing it within 10 minutes :D (wait does that mean it's DSL if it's that fast?I couldn't check the modem type I just assumed)
