I've given up any hope of getting the demo today. It was all just some rumour. :mad:
At least we know the full game will be out in less than a month.:)
Kurgsy's right. The site updates usually happen Fridays. It's already the 4th here. I don't think it's coming today.
The day is still young it's only 10:00AM here.

Hold on. As far as I can tell, that mag had an exculsive JA demo since August 30th. This cant be true, or is my german wrong?:eek:
I interpreted that as Aug 30th for subscribers, Sept 3rd for the newsstand.
That does seem awfully early, but oh well...
Then again, it's only four days difference. And Andy quoted Kenn as saying any day now.
That means that LEC must have a demo ready and be posting it soon. So perhaps what Jedi Elite said is true....

I'm German and I buy the Gamestar every month, they tested JA (Score: 90%) and they have an exclusive video - that's all, but there's plenty of new information in the review, so, if you want to, I could post a summary of those informations.

lucasarts is releasing it and remember by their time its only 10:30 am right now.
Checked the site when I got up today. And no demo yet :( Sigh... maybe I'll check it on the hour hehe. I'm guessing around noon? Hope they update their site soon! :D
For the Sake of my own sanity, I hope they release it at 1:59AM of September 4 which is STILL 11:59PM Pacific Time on September the 3rd.

What part of this is supposed to surprise me... I mean here people go on a date based on someone who says they have an insider source, and then when the date rolls around, people start blaming LUCASARTS for the other guy's post. I mean c'mon people, I even asked Kenn Hoekstra and he said it may be today maybe tomorrow it could be the end of the week. Now who are you going to believe, a guy who hasnt even played the game or demo, or the PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR of Raven Software.

Thats a bit harsh. JE didn't necessarily do anything wrong. He just said that he had heard of this release date.
My gripe with JE is he should have stated that it was a rumor, insider knowledge or not.
Part of the blame goes to all of us, getting so worked up. Just relax. If not today, maybe tommorrow. You never know.

I really hope that this was not some sort of sad joke to make people who are eagerly waiting for this game feel like idiots.:(
Now now people there's a LOT of time left.
Now LA is based in California right?(all of their news are from San Rafael California so I based it on this)
Now it's currently 4:12 PM eastern Time but it's currently noon in California so they might have not put it up yet.
I am going to go ahead and lock this thread until the demo is released since it could be anywhere from 2 minutes from now till Monday of next week. When it is released, ANY supermod/admin/mod may unlock the thread although it would be pretty pointless since I can say right now that a new thread will be created saying.. DEMO IS RELEASED!!! So why bother unlocking really. But they may unlock if wanted.
