Does anybody else get turned into strange things, which is the point I guess only to have the game shut down with an illegal operation message, does anyone know why at different times in the same level the code will have a different effect turning you into something unusable the skeleton in Peru for example, while further along it will turn you into guybrush? I'm asking cause this ruined the monkey island easter egg by turning me into a portal ring, instead of guybrush.

I had to find this site while interest for the game was on the decline sigh, still I went through the old posts and didn't see anything on this problem, if you have the answer please help.
