i cant find volodnikov anywhere after he runs off with the gear thingy.. hes just disappeared??? can anyone help me??

Have you moved the blocks on both sides of the middle structure? Have you moved the statue in de back room? You do that and than go find Volodnikov. You will find him and catch him.
