What are the most rare star wars toys around? And also, what ones that are new now would you think would be worth more in time? Do they make less of certain ones, less popular ones for example....

vinal cape vintage jawa
vintage ananaman
vintage boba fett exclusive rocket fire on rotj card that sadly never made it past prototype, but a few of those are floating around
toy fair 2002 vader
celebration 2 cammander jorg sacul(an x wing piulot made in george lucas's image)
vintage imperial dignitary
potf boba fett green card with slide
vintage barada is kinda rare
vintage yak face
also some ships like ythe y wing,skiff,and shuttle are rare.
i think that some only a few of the modern saga carded will be rare, i think probly some of the hard to find ones now, such as beardles soldier will go up, or the just released conventio silver boba fett on a special black card with madalorian skull thing as backround.
most figures are not limited, if anything made more available now more than ever, but shipping now is slow.
popular charators seem to uave the same ammopunt made as not well known ones which actually usually go faster, who hoinestly wanyts repakages or a repaint as much as a figure not made yet?
if you collect, prices will go up on some in time, yes, mostly the ones that are exclusives such as the kb gamorean guard,tys are us mace windu 12", wal mart garbage compactor 2 packs.
also older 12'' figures, especially the marmit 12" that are from japan.

Habro has been doing good. They have a fair ammount of a lot of figures. Kenner sometimes made a few less, like the Expanded Universe set. :)
Is it worth collecting the new hasbro 4"? I have a few of them, and their selling many off really cheap around here.
if you are only collecting to sell them later on, its not collecting, that would be gathering all you gan becasue you love it like i do with star wars, i woiuld never sell my collection. bur, if you are looking to mak a prophit, your late, these wont have an extreme value until at least 5 years and even then...not great, but to make he most money, dont open.

Yeh, collectors don't sell their colelction. No collector would do that. Espicially for collectors.

as much as i agree with you, you should not bring being a fan or not into this,only if a true collector, you see people collect lots of things, and its seperate than fan.if he was a true collector your rite,but he may be a die hard fan who wants some money...

I dont plan on selling I just wana know some names to look out for. I dont open them but for the new releases I have many episode II jedi like Kenobi, Shaak Ti, Koon, Windu, the fetts, then Vader(bespin) and chewie ESB a rebel endor soldier and Han solo.
Then I have some from the 1995 - 1997 kenner range, Luke in training, Luke jedi knight, stormtrooper outfit luke and luke - hoth, Vader, han solo - hoth, han solo - carbonite, chewie, R2, boba, lando and leia as bounty hunter.
I now wish I bought the Falcon and X wing. Any of you collect Lightsabers? :)

I collected lightsabers.
I had the POTF 2 (Power of the Force 2) Sabersd, Luke's green saber and Darth Vader's. Howeveer, me and Daring broke those when we were dueling. lol. I have the Episode 2 Obi-Wan saber, and an Episode 1 Obi-Wan lightsaber (not FX though). Lastly, I have those dinky 7 buck ones you can get at Wal-Mart. I have a green one, purple one, and a red one. ;)
And I don't have an Master Replicas. :)
I have Qui Gons and Anakins and I used to have Vaders. I have seen some new ones recently, full size, sounds and lights with different hilts and different colour blades including orange. Also I saw recently Yoda's and Mace's which I've not seen before, they must have released them recently.....BUT Mace's hilt was his one from Episode I, the clan saber but it was a purple blade....
