Hi!
I'm having a strange problem with Grim Fandango. The second I enter year 2, the speech disappears. Has anyone else experienced this? Does it have anything to do with XP?
Btw, I've installed the patch.
Hoping someone has got some hint on how to resolve this problem! :-)

The only hint I can give ya, is: Save your saved games in a diffrent folder, and reinstall GF.
You could try loading saved games from year3 (
http://www.apaw90.dsl.pipex.com/year3/30-rustyanchors.zip) and year4 (
http://www.apaw90.dsl.pipex.com/year4/42-rubacavaagain.zip).
If the save game from year3 works, and the save game in year4 doesn't, it may be a problem with your second disc.
You could also try copying the files to the hard-drive as explained in the sticky (
http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=29995).

The store where I bought the CD agreed to exchange it for a new one. And the new one works perfectly!
