hi, i'm new arround here, and i wanted to ask if someone could finish my model, do the weighting, animation, skelleton etc. because i just have milkshape!

the model is a personal update of the excellent dash rendar model by kman, sniper_wolf and toonces. i really like it, but i did some modifications to it like adding his jetpack, making his face more like in sote, the hair longer , the brown shoulder parts a bit higher etc.
most of the credits go to the original authors, 'cuz i just edited a few things though.

so can somebody help me?

oh, yes, here are a few screens, which may take some place here...

I think that you should first be sure to get the original author's permission before you attempt to get this model in-game... unless you don't plan on releasing it publicly.

I got the same problem as you. I got a bunch of good feedback, but no one offered to help. My model is also made by changing an original model using Milkshape. Milshape in a great program but it can't export to JO.

What you would really need for milkshape is a skin modifier like 3d max and a compatible XSI 3.0 plugin...i wonder why Gmax doesnt have those yet.

Didn't change much at all... just the jetpack and the hair are the only readily visible signs of change. Won't those new additions to the model have to be weighted as well, or have you already done that? If not, I think that has to be done prior to putting it in-game.

you should try giving private messages to all the modelers in the forum. i'm sure you'll get a positive response back from one of them. its the law of averages.

Im willing to have a go once I get mine in game cos I would like the practice. Unfortunately I wont be able to help (or hinder, depending on my success) until the end month.

Have you tried KevinCoyle? he stated he could get a model in game within a couple of hours...
