WHAT THE HECK IS FILK MUSIC?

What is this stuff called filk?
the folk music of the
science fiction/fantasy fan community.
the name started out as a typo of "folk"
and was then gleefully adopted by
Cantina Bands all across the galaxy.

Now I have collected 4 really great filk songs
from the Internet, (some of you may already have
heard them) but if not, I would like for you to download
and listen to them all; AND THEN vote on which Filk song
you think is the best. you will have to cut\copy the url,
and then paste it into your browsers address field manually.
remove the asterisks before trying to access these files.
they are just there so you can see the address
you have to go to.

The Four Filk Songs Are:

Goodbye Qui-Gon Jinn ~ parody of Candle In The Wind
by Steven Cavanagh
*www.geocities.com/filkloresongs/filkloresong1.zip*)

Max Rebo Band ~ parody of Piano Man
performed by Tony Fabris lyrics Steven Cavanagh

Only A Gungan To Me ~ Only A Woman
by Steven Cavanagh
*www.geocities.com/filkloresongs/filkloresong3.zip*)

Star Wars Cantina ~ parody of Copacaban
by Mark Jonathan Davis

as stated above these links will not work you will get
page not found if you try it. cut and paste the address
into your browsers address field and remove the asterisks
and then the download will begin.

*myself I voted Max Rebo Band:jawa *
