Star Wars music first ,
what is Jabba's Baroque recital?
is it the plinkly music playing when
c3po and r2d2 first show up.
next there are 2 versions of max rebo band
playing in Jabba's palace do these songs have names?
next 2 different ewok songs what are they called?
lastly where can one get any and or all of this music?

next i need some star wars images,
the following
a good shot of luke at the cantina bar by himself
or with obi just a good clear image of luke.
next a good quality image of r2d2 talking
to jabba's door eye thingy,
does anyone have these images
or know where i could find them
as in an url? (also the music)
does anyone have any mp3's of these songs?

Eggy old pal, it is on the Return of the Jedi Special Edition Soundtrack. It's not Extremely old, so you may still be able to find a copy somewhere. Here are some pics to help you out.

okay so original episode 6
has Sy Snootles and the Max Rebo band playing
Lapti Nek (I believe the song is called)
is this on the new CD edition too
or only the old OST?
and the new song with Jof Yowza
is called Jedi Rock

and the plinkly calm ambient music when
c3po and r2d2 first come into Jabba's palace
is Jabba's Baroque recital
and the new Ewok piece
the meso american pan flute bit is called?
the original is well the Yub Yub song???

but you know I know each one is like 2 disc's
but now, even now the things are still like 50 bucks
a pop in Canada, and paying $150.00 plus 15% sales tax
for John Williams (and actually risk having someone see
that you own John Williams OSt's is brutal)
just when you only really want a couple of songs.
songs that have been Muppetized to make them
safe to handle.

Yeah I never cared much for that version. It sounded like a really bad Dionne Warwick song.(as if there was such thing as a "good" Dionne Warwick song?!?!?) Considering this was '83, that didn't surprise me. At first I thought the musical number would be silly, but it was much more fun than to watch those damn muppets trying to convice us they are real, let alone Jabba! I'm actually surprised they didnt make Jabba in ROTJ a full CGI model. Evidently Lucas took pitty on the poor exausted puppeteers that that were stuffed in the belly of that great beast. There's still no excuse for the ewoks..... The end of the greatest battle in the galaxy is celebrated with Yub Yubs. I quote T.S. Elliot;

"This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
This is the way the world ends
Not with a bang but a whimper."

*that's so funny*

actually I thought and I could be wrong
that the original song Lapti Nek
was sort of thrown on the puppeteers
and the puppeteer doing Sy Snootles
was actually garbling words like

'I am big fat thing on stilts ya!...etc'

and they thought it was so funny they used it.

(that might be galactic legend)
but it sounds funny.

I mean the guy who did the main alien in Galaxy Quest
I saw him give an interview and he said they gave him
15 minutes to come up with some take on his character
and the original Klingon in Star Trek had to likewise.
