We all know Yoda is a cross between Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy so I think the name of his species should be ...

Friggy

:D

You never know, GL himself might read this thread and use one of our suggestions. ;)

Weebesh. I don't know, i just made it up out of the blue.

I really like the mystery of not knowing though, so i wouldn't care if they never gave it a name.

Whill. As in "From the Journal of the Whills", part of the original name that George Lucas had in mind when he created Star Wars. It would be a nice touch if Yoda was a member of the species who is chronicling the story of the Star Wars Galaxy. Could also be used as an interesting tie-in with his original idea. Highly doubt he'd do it, but it would still be kinda cool.

I'm telling you, Yoda is a giant Midichlorian!

But seriously, I bet Yoda's species is wiped out in SW2 for some reason... maybe they're all strong in the Force (giant Midichlorians would be, ya know? ;) ) and Jedi or something... Then we'll find out the name of his homeworld.

What is the meaning of life?
Why do all kids seem to enjoy Tweenies?
Is it long enough?

And this one is answerable...

Yoda is a.......
