I was wondering if they villager type units in this game and if they do are the droids. I think it would be cool to have C3PO and RTD2 as the 2 villager units.

Hi jigga.

I think Rom's right, everyone has some kind of "viligars", and most of those are droids. The Trade Federation however, will have massive droid armies, not just droid villigars.

a neutral droid factory, with masses of droids moving about, would be nice..

I think it would be cool if Your units used different speech for specific threats or targets.

Imperial Stormtrooper upon spotting the Galactic Trade Federation army: "Look sir, droids" ;)

Oh well, just another fanboy dream I suppose....:p

Paragon, it'd sure be cool all the neutral things you want, but it's just a game, and believe me, most of these neutral things won't be in the game.

Yes, that would be quite a bit of programming, plus, the Imperials wouldn't fight the TF in campaigns, so it wouldn't be worth it. Also, you'd have a ton of guys saying "Look Sir, droids" all the time probably. :D

yeah, a whole neutral world would be a bit over the top, but they did have neutral villagers and vehicles in Force Commander, as well as in AOK, so it can be done.

what about skirmishes? the imps can use "Look sir, droids!" as a warning for the player so that you know the TF is coming at you. Gungans, one phrase, "Ouch time!"

Good Idea, but I think the Star Wars universe needs more women first for a SOAP OPERA to work... or Leia and Padme would be getting alot of.....wait a minute....nevermind.. ;)

I personally hate soap operas, but anyways,

They could and should have civ-specific warnings, but to do one for each civ everyone can face would be 30 different warnings, and they'd have to program that and alot of other stuff.....

Where'd you post it, in the developer's forum. I don't think that they ever really post, but they probably read it. But you never know.....
