OOC: Hey fella's, this is just some stuff I've picked up over past few years of role-playing star wars. Anyway, I know these sites aren't exactly perfect, but they make starting threads and character bios etc a lot easier. Anyway, here they are:

Galactic map: This is a map containing most of the major planets along with their controlling factions. http://www.standrewsoca.org/ISD/website/galacticmap.html)

General Star Wars Info: This website describes almost all planets, weapons, species, characters, and even natural resources that exist in the star wars universe.
http://www1.theforce.net/CUSWE/news.asp)

Anyway, that's all I've got for now. Feel free to post your own referances and info in this thread.

That map is really nice, I'm a big fan of the encyclopedia too. I've been using it to make my own SW RPG.

I noticed that that map is from after the New Republic was formed. And as we (should) all know, Galaxies takes place before The New Republic was formed. And Thew, I'd like to know the url of your RPG (if it's on the internet).

Hmm, I'd like to look at that map but either the site is down or the link is bad. Can anyone verify?

The link doesn't work for me now either, but it did before. So I'd guess the site is down.

If you try here:

And poke around you'll find these.

I'm pretty sure these are what you're looking for.
