Last shot is being built as a seperate .map file, just so I don't limit myself as to the size.. it'll be quite large hopefully. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a way to get rid of the fog inside the base, so I've resigned myself to having it inside the base as well...

Actually the fog helps the framerate quite a bit.. :)

hey it looks really cool. hey i think some marine life would be cool to add to the map. like sharks and fishes. i think that would be the ice-ing on the cake man.

Sharks and fishes would actually be easy to do. Just modify something like the glider NPC, allow them to fly and have them wander the waypoint network. Unfortunatly, you won't be able to animate them. Sharks would look stupid not moving, but fish would look just fine. Just make a GLM in MD3View and use that. It'll work, it will just be static.

Like the blue outside atmosphere, good to see some level makers get creative with the setting. You might want to look into a shader, that might be a cool addition to the water, it might help you with the marine life too (if you're planning on including some)

I know theres no water, but in this level the "sky" is now "water", why do we call it a sky even? its not really, just a box with a shader on it, but i'm just saying it would be more believeable as water if he used a shader of some sort to add fish or starwars seamonsters or something, thats all. How far along is the plot anyways? It would be so cool if you modeled a giant seamonster to swim past you in one of those glass tunnels, maybe it could shake the level a bit... that would be scary and cool, perhaps its tail could hit the glass, breaking it, causing a leak and some bay doors close to contain the lead and you have to find a way out of it... just a mini challenge to make the level seem longer.

lol im completely agreeing with that! :( (school SUCKS) well, yes this map realy look awesome, are you going to release it as a MP map also? becuase i dont know about all ya'll but i play MP waaaaaaaaay more then SP i only play SP when im bored
