The Confeds are supposed to specialise in troopers and mechs, right? They forego the last attack upgrade in the war centre and replace it with Droid Upgrades. But this doesn't affect mechs, leaving mechs a little underpowered to be one of their strong points. Maybe droid upgrades should upgrade the mechs as well? Just a thought...

Droid upgrades was supposed to simulate the power of super battle droids but the Confeds need better mechs. Maybe givig them Advanced Redesign would fix the problem

IMHO the Confeds mechs sucked it up royally in the movie, so I don't know why they should have strong mechs. Their droids, on the other hand, were awesome. I think LA did pretty good in balancing the Confed while still keeping fairly close to the movie.

Relax, it usually takes a little while for responses (as I pointed out in another thread, there can be 80 people reading the board and only 5 of them posting). I don't play with mechs a lot, so I'm not sure how good the Confed's mechs are. I guess I'll have to find out.
