When compiling my map, I get the message "NumPoints <184> exceed MAX_POINTS_ON_WINDING <64>." I have absolutely know idea what this sof2map error is. The map is pretty much a nice big open space.

Any ideas out there?

From qeradiant.com

ERROR: WindingFromDrawSurf failed: MAX_POINTS_ON_WINDING exceeded

There are too many vertices repeating themselves along a single axis. It can also mean you have a "brush side polygon" somewhere with more than 64 corner points.

In plain English, either a really tall/wide brush or or a very complex single brush.

I got the error when I had a fluid brush touching the void.
