Mods for TPM : Is that possible ?

Hello guys. I'm new here at this forum.
I read another topics here about patches and mods for TPM.
The point is : Editting TPM is such a hard and, since it's code is not available to us common mortals http://www.jediknight.net/mboard/biggrin.gif), we cannot even do a multiplayer patch or a play-with-darth-maul patch.
I've heard of Zanzibar's efforts (I've noticed he works at Big Ape) and I think TPM is a great game with excelent capabilities.
I have no experience with programming, but I would like to play a TPM with multiplayer or controlling Darth Maul.
My question is : Is that doable for us mortals ?

Hmm...although I have no experience editing (not even JK), I suspect it is possible. However, such an act would be in violation of the LucasArts agreement. The only thing we can do is hope LucasArts has a change of heart, and allows Zanzibar to release the patches for us all. And since LucasArts are shadowing these boards, it's a safe bet they will see this.

"goodness graciuos me"(-C3PO (and BBC programme)) you're right, soryy. But I still wonder why they would do that. This is a good clean forum. It makes me feel uncomfortable thinking the Big Brother(G. Lucas) is watching us.
