Component shortages aren't exactly controllable by Sony.
WHAT it started out with 2 mil. being send then it went to 1 mil. now it's 500,000!!! those idiots!!!!! I am angey I pre-ordered one of those too!!!

PSX : Never liked it, not any good games!
PS One : Who wants a 5-year old console that's not really portable? By not portable I mean that it doesn't run on batteries! What's the use then?

Yeah, Sony never has been any good much people. They do have good games, but it is because they hire all of the 3rd parties to do it for them. Nintendo does a lot of the games themselves, or gets Rare to do it (I wonder what would happen if Rare made a Star Wars game on the Goldeneye engine?).
Come to think of it, All of the Star Wars games on the PSX (WHAT DOES THE X STAND FOR?) were failures (or at least better on the PC or DC).
Except for Shadows of the Empire, Nintendo has been pretty lucky in the Star Wars area, with Rogue Squadron and Battle for Naboo.
The PC seemed to fare the best with XWA, Jedi Knight, and Phantom Menace (very good in my opinion).
ANy ways, I am getting a Nintendo Game Cube, and I am also going to keep getting games for the PC.
THis sight is wonderful, I wish I found it sooner.

And why don't you like shadows of the empire? I think it's pretty fun, just wish the control would be better, too bad they didn't port phantom menace to the n64. playstation hogs all the good star wars games !

Playstation has all the good SW games? No way, PC has the best SW games. No other system even come close when we are talking SW games!
Oh, and why does everybody bash the Cube? Sure, the design is horrible, but Nintendo makes quality games, unlike Sony which has more of quantity than quality. Personally I would pick a N64 over a PSX any day.
i like them both, i'm just saying i think that the playstation has more games that i like on it. I might get one if i find it for like $30.
